County reopens additional parks

PALM BEACH COUNTY — The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department will be reopened additional parks Friday after conducting extensive damage assessments, safety inspections and debris removal. Below is a complete list of county-operated parks and facilities in Canal Point and South Bay that reopened Friday, September 15 for general use. Specialized areas such as sports playing fields, courts, pools and other facilities located inside the parks may remain closed for safety reasons.

• Canal Point Community Center, 12860 U.S. Highway 441, Canal Point

• South Bay RV Park, 100 Levee Road, South Bay

All other county-operated parks and recreational facilities will remain closed until further notice. However, park crews will be working throughout the weekend to prepare additional parks to reopen as quickly as possible.
