County’s park system quickly recovering after Hurricane Irma

The following parks and recreational facilities reopened on Saturday, September 23.

• Paul Rardin Park, 4600 State Road 715, Pahokee

While most of the more than 110 county-operated parks and recreational facilities have reopened for general use, locations listed below will remain closed until they have been made safe for public use.

• Duncan Padgett Park, 3701 S.R. 715, Pahokee

• Glades Pioneer Park, 866 S.R. 715, Belle Glade

• Triangle Park, 37001 Main Street, Canal Point

Some facilities and amenities located within parks already open may also be closed for safety reasons. Future updates will be communicated through the department’s website: www.pbcparks.com and Facebook and Twitter pages.
