Daylight Savings Time Ends This Weekend

Daylight saving time ends November 6 at 2 a.m. so make sure you set your clocks back an hour.

This is a great time to check your fire alarm and other batteries in your home or business as well as your fire extinguishers.  Don’t forget to check your emergency preparedness kits and rotate your perishable items.  It is also a great time go over your family or business disaster plan and make any updates that are needed.

Remember it will be dark longer and we have children waiting to get on school buses.  Also remember it is cane season and we have tractors and semi-trucks hauling to and from the fields all hours of the day.  Please drive safety and watch the roads.
