Letter to the Editor: Trunk or Treat Community Outreach Festival

SOUTH BAY – My name is Barbara King owner of BElegant CreativEvents Planning and Kings Tutoring & Mentoring Foundation In the City of South Bay.

My organizations are hosting a Trunk or Treat Community Outreach Festival on October 31 at 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Tanner Park in South Bay.

We have partnership with the Palm Beach County (Clarence Anthony branch) Library where we have merged our events together so the kids in the community can attend both events.

They will start off at the Library at 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. and at the end of the event the children will then receive a ticket that will be used for the Concession stand at the Trunk or Treat event at Tanner Park.

We will have PBSO for security for this event and Thrive For A Change, DMB Riders, Muck City Riders, BeazieBoy Productions, City of South Bay, BElegant CreativEvents and Kings Tutoring and Mentoring Foundation, KingsJ Photography, 2SBW Construction as sponsors.

We are looking to have the community participation as well as businesses, organizations and groups to come take part and decorate their trunks, bus, trucks, motorcycles, tables or tents and give out treats to the kids.

We will have a best costume contest for the children and a best decorated trunk contest for the participants. There will be bounce houses, concession machines, hotdogs and drinks for everyone.

We are inviting vendors to come out and spread awareness for their services they provide for FREE.

We are creating a SAFE Haven environment for the kids in the community so they can have a worry free and Funfilled night of Fun, with the latest news of clown sightings, past bullying, egging, violence and crimes.

Ms. King
