Primary Election Reminders

PALM BEACH COUNTY – Polling locations for the 2016 Primary Election will be open in Palm Beach County tomorrow, Aug. 30, from 7 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for all voters who were registered to vote by Monday, Aug. 1.

On Election Day, voters are required to present their current picture/signature ID to vote. Acceptable forms of valid identification are: Florida Driver’s License, Florida State ID Card, US Passport, Debit/Credit Card, Military or Student ID, Public Assistance ID, Neighborhood Association ID, Retirement Center ID, Veteran’s Health ID, Concealed Weapons Permit, and Employee ID issued by federal, state or municipal government. Identification must include both a picture and signature to be eligible, and any combination of picture and signature is acceptable. Voter cards are not a valid form of identification and are not required to vote on Election Day.

If a voter has received a vote by mail ballot and decides to vote at their polling location instead, they may do so as long as they have not returned their vote by mail ballot to our office. Voters may not turn in a completed vote by mail ballot at their polling location on Election Day. Completed vote by mail ballots must be returned to our main office by 7 p.m. or one of our satellite offices by 5 p.m. on Election Day.

Voters must vote at their assigned polling location on Election Day. This information can be found on our website by clicking on ‘Where Do I Vote,’ on your voter information card or sample ballot. Please make any address changes prior to going to the polls by calling 561-656-6200.
