WEST PALM BEACH — A top rate team of cardiovascular experts will be offering state-of-the-art on-site cardiovascular testing, detection, prevention, and solutions in the parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church, 1401 Ninth St. in West Palm Beach, on Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. The mobile bus is equipped with advanced technology and a sophisticated team of specialists will be on hand to diagnose, screen and prevent serious cardiac events.

Bring your insurance card and schedule seven FREE non-invasive, life-saving cardiovascular tests that will be conducted on the bus!

1) Echocardiograms – An echocardiogram is a non invasive ultrasound test that evaluates the structures of the heart, as well as the direction of blood flow within it.

2) Carotid Doppler – The carotid Doppler can determine if you are at risk of a stroke.

3) Lower extremity Doppler – ultrasound exam that measures blood flow through your arteries and veins.

4) A Transcranial Doppler ultrasound measures the velocity of blood flow through the brain’s blood vessels by measuring the echoes of ultrasound waves moving through the cranium.

5) Stress echocardiography is a test that uses ultrasound imaging to show how well your heart muscle is working to pump blood to your body. It is most often used to detect a decrease in blood flow to the heart from narrowing in the coronary arteries.

6) Approximately 200,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms, of whom 66 percent have no prior symptoms or warnings. It is estimated that 1 million people in the United States have undetected, potentially fatal abdominal aortic aneurysms. 75 to 90 percent of individuals with a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm do not survive. With this test ACD can determine if you are at risk for a rupture. If so, a treatment and prevention plan can be put into place.

7) Pulmonary function tests are a group of tests that measure breathing and how well the lungs are functioning.
