Home for the Holidays – foster a homeless pet this Holiday season

Due to limited kennel space and overcrowding at their local animal shelter, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control is asking local residents to consider fostering an adoptable pet during the holiday season.

As a foster parent, your job is to provide a safe and loving place for your foster pet to call home.  Everything else you will need is provided by the shelter:  food, medication, bedding, dog or cat crate, litter box, etc.  The typical fostering period is 7-10 days and if you happen to fall in love with your foster pet, adoption is always an option!

To learn more about the Home for the Holidays program or to pick up a foster pet before the upcoming holiday, please stop by the shelter or call 561-233-1200, extension 0.
