Jail employees serve special luncheon


BELLE GLADE — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center B/ Shift employees addressed one of the most serious issues low-income seniors face: hunger and food insecurity. They gave a pre-Thansgiving “Paying It Forward Luncheon” on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the West County Senior Center, where about 100 people attended. Said Center Manager Willie A. Miller Jr., “Their investment in the lives of senior citizens and their noble endeavor of serving up a fresh, healthy Thanksgiving dinner last week is immensely appreciated.” From left are Lt.
