Palm Tran hosting summit for public comments to improve bus service

BELLE GLADE — Palm Tran will host a summit at the Palm Beach State College – Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center, 1977 SW College Drive in Belle Glade on Monday, June 11, at 5:30-7:30 p.m. to get public comments that will help guide bus service changes in the future. The Route Performance Maximization (RPM) project seeks to utilize public feedback to create improved travel times, more direct bus service and an overall better customer experience.

More than a thousand surveys were received during the first phase of outreach for the project in May. Now, members of the public have the opportunity to share their opinions and ideas on specific proposals for all Palm Tran bus routes. Major service changes could be implemented as soon as this fall.  Everyone is encouraged to share their comments at these summits:
