PAO collects food for local nonprofits

WEST PALM BEACH — The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office (PAO) 18th annual Food Drive has collected more than 3,200 pounds of canned food. The special food-raising campaign is administered by the employees of the PAO.

This year’s recipients are two charities in the Palm Beach County area:

Thursday, Nov. 16, at noon – the Property Appraiser’s Office – Belle Glade Service Center, 2976 State Road 15, Belle Glade. The office will present donated canned food to the Light House Café Ministries of the Glades soup kitchen (which is located in Belle Glade)

Friday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. – the Property Appraiser’s Office – Governmental Center, 301 North Olive Ave., West Palm Beach. The office will present donated canned food to the Extended Hands Community Outreach (food pantry), (which is located in West Palm Beach)
