Photographer Sarah Brown to give lecture at Lawrence E. Will Museum of the Glades

Photographer, Sarah Brown, presents on over a decade of photographic work of Lake Okeechobee.

BELLE GLADE — The Lawrence E. Will Museum of the Glades, 530 South Main Street in Belle Glade, invites the public to attend a lecture by nature photographer Sarah Brown on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m.

Photographer, Sarah Brown, presents on over a decade of photographic work of Lake Okeechobee and surrounding areas. Her presentation includes stories behind her photographs in the exhibit and her approach to photographing natural landscapes. Sharing her process for capturing images, Ms. Brown will highlight her hope for nature photography in our communities and preserving the historical landscape of Lake O.

Artist’s Bio: Photographer, Sarah Brown, has waded and swamp tromped her ways through the eastern Everglades and the islands of Lake Okeechobee capturing the tranquility and place in her nature landscape photographs. Brown’s visual exploration is both a reminder of the fragile ecosystem and exploration of a place that is rich with historical context.
