SOUTH BAY — On Saturday, July 14, 2018, the City of South Bay presented Clive Walford Day – a “Back to School Bash” for city residents. Born and raised in South Bay, Mr. Walford established this event to give back to the community that enriched his life. Attendees participated in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, enjoyed obstacle courses as well as received health screenings, free food, haircuts, school supplies and had access to other social and community-based services. The event was sponsored by the City of South Bay, Clive Walford, Florida Crystals, U.S. Sugar, H.E. Hill Foundation, Florida Vibez and Waste Management.
