West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Clinics closed due to Hurricane Matthew

WEST PALM BEACH  –  The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center closed the following clinics on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7 due to Hurricane Matthew:

West Palm Beach VA Outpatient Clinics

All Community Based Outpatient Clinics:

Delray Beach Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Boca Raton Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Ft. Pierce Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Okeechobee Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Stuart Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Vero Beach Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Port St. Lucie PTSD Outpatient Clinic

Clewiston and Moore Haven Rural Health Clinics

Although the track of the storm is not yet clear, all indications are that South Florida will experience very strong winds and heavy rain at a minimum.

“In the abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our patients and staff in South Florida,  clinics will be closed.  We will work diligently to resume normal health care operations as quickly as possible,” said Dr. Mandi, acting medical center director.

West Palm Beach VA Medical Center patients needing immediate health care during this time may contact West Palm Beach VA Medical Center facility at (561) 422-8600 or report to the nearest emergency room.
