One killed, one critically injured in Pahokee shooting

PAHOKEE — Just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Joe Louis Ave, located in Pahokee.

Upon arrival, deputies located two individuals with gunshot wounds.  Both victims were airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center where one of the victims died from his injuries and the second victim is in critical condition.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to investigate further.

No motive or suspect information is known at this time.   This case is open and active.
