Pedestrian hit by car in Belle Glade

BELLE GLADE — An 80 year old Belle Glade woman died from injuries from an accident on March 14, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the PBSO report, on Tuesday, March 14, at 8:03 a.m. Dario Guzman, 65, of Belle Glade was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on south Main Street when Rosa Williams, 80, of Belle Glade crossed midblock within a curve of the roadway.

The front bumper of the Chevrolet Silverado struck Ms. Williams on her left side causing her to come to a rest in the inside lane of travel.

The Chevrolet Silverado stopped on the right shoulder of the roadway.

According to the report, Ms. Williams died from injuries sustained in the crash.
