Suspect(s) wanted for the homicide of Belle Glade man

PALM BEACH COUNTY — According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department on Feb. 24, two concerned citizens advised deputies that they located a deceased person parked in a vehicle in a nearby industrial park. Deputies responded to the location and discovered a deceased male inside the vehicle with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

At this time there is no suspect information or known motive.

The victim of the homicide has been identified as Gilbert Stokes, 39, of Belle Glade.

Deputies were notified of the incident on Friday, Feb. 24, at 1:25 a.m. The industrial park is located in the 4700 block of Australian Avenue, Mangonia Park.
