Barry U Social Work offers classes in Belle Glade

Barry U Social Work will hold a Lunch and Learn event at the Palm Beach State College (PBSC) in Belle Glade on Thursday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to discuss Social Work classes that will be offered at PBSC Belle Glade campus.

It will be the perfect time to ask all the questions you’ve had in mind about Social Work! The opportunities for growth are marketable and highly employable when you acquire a clinical degree…a degree that allows you to work with persons experiencing trauma, i.e., human trafficking, mass disasters, crisis response, domestic violence, hostage negotiations, substance abuse, pre and post incarceration, death and dying, bullying and gun violence, health crisis, and PTSD.

There are community-based internships designed for part time students.

Palm Beach State College – Room CRA 205 is located at 1977 College Drive in Belle Glade.
