Mrs. King retires from Gove Elementary after 38 years of service

Special to the Lake Okeechobee News/GES

BELLE GLADE — After dedicating 38 years of service as a para-professional II, Mrs. King said farewell to Gove Elementary School. As a native of Belle Glade, she spent 38 years at Gove Elementary. Mrs. King was known for always being on task and for being passionate about her work with students. She will now dedicate her time to the ministry. Although Mrs. King will be greatly missed, we were pleased to see that she left with a smile and great memories of students and staff. Mrs. St. Hilaire (from left), Mrs. King, Ms. Shannon and Mrs. J. Collins are longtime friends and colleagues.
