Round Ups scheduled to prepare children, parents for kindergarten

WEST PALM BEACH – School may not start until August 14, but elementary schools across the District are ready to welcome their youngest students and provide the information parents need to get ready for Kindergarten.
Kindergarten Round Ups welcome families to visit the campuses, allow parents and children to acquainted with the school and teachers, and get excited about all of the wonderful things that they have to look forward to as they approach this milestone.
During Round Ups, school administrators will offer an orientation about the school, explain regulations such as dress codes, and provide information about activities on campus.
Students and parents may be given tours of the classrooms, and be able to ask questions about the transition to elementary school. Often, current students will give a short performance for their schoolmates-to-be.
