Glades Day track team in Seminole Ridge Invitational

BELLE GLADE — Glades Day track competed in the Seminole Ridge Invitational in Loxahatchee on Friday, March 3.

The boys team was led by Antarus Johnson who finished second in the 110 meter hurdles, won the long jump and finished third in the triple jump.

The senior finished the 110 meter hurdles in 15.99, recorded a leap of 6.19 meters in the long jump and recorded an 11.59 meter triple jump.

Markens Pierre took 15th place in the discus toss at 29.71 meters. Wesley Vallee took 15th place in the long jump at 5.53 meters. Jorge Acosta was the top Gator finisher in the 400 meters, and Anthony McPhee was the top finisher in the 100 meter dash.

Jorge Acosta finished 18th in the shot put with a toss of 11.15 meters.

The Lady Gator track team did not compete in the event.
