The entry fee per fighter is $35.

The Muck City Boxing club opened its doors a little over a year ago. It is under the direction of Coach Eddie Ramierez, a professional and amateur boxing coach and trainer..

Coach Ramirez was a former PBSO PAL Boxing Coach for over 4 years.

“Coach Ramirez has never charged a fee. The doors to his gym are always open. He has a genuine love for the sport and the youth in the Glades.” stated Mr. Muniz.

The gym is in Pahokee at 301 E First St.

“Our club has participated in many local events. All fees and transportation were covered by Coach Ramirez. I have watched Coach Ramirez go above and beyond for our youth. I thinks its time we give a little back,” he said.

He said if they raise more money than they need for trip expenses, they will use any additional funds raised to provide uniforms and equipment for the fighters in need.
